Just now back from Las Vegas and ready to dig in. We made a lot of good contacts and had some fun to boot. While the January shows are always fun and exciting, we’ve decided that perhaps next year we will come out but just to hang out and go to the parties and forgo the actual conventions.Speaking of parties, our second night in town we headed down to the Circle Bar at the Venetian, which had become the town meeting of the AVN Expo. Industry tycoons and models were everywhere to seen. We shmoozed a bit and had a few drinks with the best of them. A high light of the evening was running into Jada Fire. We were very excited to meet her as we’re familiar with her work and impressed at what an awesome chick she was. We spoke of setting up a shoot sometime, so we’ll see if we can’t get going on that.Toward the end of the night, we ran into our ultra fav girl Justine Joli and we all headed up to Tao with a few people including the lovely Zoe Britton. Kyle mentioned our client and amazing photographer Richard Avery from Juliland.com and Zoe planted a big kiss on Kyle’s cheek. He was totally stoked and decided to started telling everyone he was there on behalf of Richard Avery and Juliland.com in hopes that it might lead to some more action! Haha.Friday of the convention as we wandered through the great hall, we came across some old friends of ours, the Jingle Jugs guys. We had no idea they would have a booth but we stopped by and talked a bit reminiscing about the commercials we shot for them last year. Go to JingleJugs.com to see what I’m talking about.Friday night we were invited to the Playboy Club Jenna party in Hef’s private suite at The Palms. The view from the suite was pretty amazing and I wished I’d had my bathing suite so I could take a dip in the hot tub that hangs over the building looking down over 20 stories! Jenna and Tito made an appearance, but other then that, the party was kind of a snore. We ended up meeting a real cool cat named Danny Luv. So took off with Danny and his friends and headed back to the Circle bar to see what was happening. Back at the Circle bar as hung out and had a few drinks but as Kyle and I are out of partying practice, we started to fade around 2am and decided to head back to the room and get some sleep.Saturday was spent recoporating and catching up on some much needed sleep and food. We had one more obligation to fulfill and that was to show up at the Stockroom hosted party at the Empire Ballroom that night for the post AVN Awards bash. Nathan Strausee and amazing friend Charity decided to come and join us. We had a great time hanging out and dancing. After a while we ran into Mario and the other Stockroom guys and JT was so cool to let us sit at their reserved table and partake in their bottle service.At 2am, the Stockroom show started and was absolutely amazing. Justine Joli performed and Mario was part of the show, I found out later which totally cracked me up. Things started to get a little crazy at this point and we were totally beat so we headed back to the hotel to get at least a few hours of sleep before we had to go register at Internext the next day.Internext had a new format this year, closing down and using the Rain night club at the palms. The set up was interesting and provided for a much more social atmosphere. Each sponsor set up in a booth and greeted visitors as they passed. Monday evening The Palms opened up the fantasy suites for all of us to see. Each major sponsor hosted a party in each suite. The best party was by far the King Pin suite, but we voted and unanimously decided that the best suite was the Erotic suite. What put I over the edge was the stripper pole in the shower which was all glass and could be seen from the sitting room! It goes without saying that this feature was used to it’s full advantage by the end of the night.Check out a few pics from the trip:
